Witches Corn Maze

Witches Corn Maze - Longsight Road, Ribble Valley, Lancashire BB2 7JA

Lose yourself in the Magical Mystical Corn Maze! Get lost in this fantastic new attraction in East Lancashire. This giant maze constructed from corn, features a huge Pendle Witch cut into the crop which is only visible from the air. Witch way will you turn?! The maize maze, in the shape of a Lancashire witch flying straight for Pendle hill and littered with straw seats and interesting titbits about the history of witchcraft, is open 7 days a week until the end of the school holidays and then it's just weekends and special bookings. It's being cut for cattle feed in October. Hours: 10a.m.- 6p.m. we recommend people give themselves up to 1hour to go round. There are 4 emergency exits and people can buy a map and take a flag and whistle for easy search and rescue operations. Dowsons Homemade Ice-cream is sold on site and the marquee houses an award-winning chef making sweet and savoury snacks and light bites. There's a seating area, reading corner and a range of books relating to the Lancashire witches and sorcery is on sale with a batch of baby chicks for handling and stroking. There is also a pen overseen by our staff that visitors may enter, with Wookey the highland cow and her new-born calf, two Kune Kune pigs; a rare New Zealand breed who have cartoonish appeal and a people-friendly attitude. There's also pheasants, partridges and chickens strutting their stuff, and best of all there's a hand-washing basin hooked up nearby. It's absolutely free to come on site, there's a car park and everything is on pretty flat ground and within easy walking distance.
