Meols Hall manor-house and estate have been in the Hesketh family for 27 generations, and is still a privately-owned home. Meols Hall offers guided tours of the house, with a traditional afternoon tea in the recently refurbished 400-year-old tithe barn. The historic village of Churchtown is situated just outside the gates of the estate, with a varied selection of shops. The Botanic Gardens and museum are also close by.
