The visitor centre tells you all you need to know about your local countryside along the river Mersey. Leaflets are available on walks and free events run by the warden service. Seasonal displays provide wildlife information. Explore the Nature Reserve or visit the Water Sports Centre. Guided tours are available by arrangement.
Travel Information
From: M60, J6 Directions: Follow the signs for Trafford Water Sports centre. The visitor centre is the first building you come to.
From: Dane Road Metrolink Directions: Turn right from the station. Left into Priory Gardens, through the woods, cross the motorway footbridge. Turn right and follow the track to the centre.
Bus Hardy Lane nos 85, 86, 47, Sale Moor ½ km.
