Walkden Gardens
Walkden Gardens - Derbyshire Road, Trafford, Greater manchester
Locals call it The Maze with its high beech hedges that separate each of the different gardens - this is the place to get delightfully lost. In 1970 work started at Walkden, yet it now has a fuchsia garden, rose garden, wisteria arch and a new Japanese garden. The Theatre Lawn is a thrilling performance space used for year-round special events, while the Cherry Walk is a colourful treat in springtime.
